Shane Saunders – Head Honcho

A tenacious, resilient and ambitious man that is the owner, creator (and occasional) mistake maker of Mangobean. Shane started off selling beans to coffee shops in a 2 door car, building up a successful wholesale business dedicated to coffee shops. Following the recession in 2008 and seeing what the high street was missing, Shane built a coffee shop format that was affordable, fun, and innovative.

John Delaney – Operations Director

With over 35 years’ experience of wholesale and vending, on his exotic business journey, John has also set-up various new-start businesses including vending, wholesale, gaming, print and design. John set up one of the first companies to bring touch-screen internet terminals to the high street, over 20 years ago (a little too early he believes). John brings a wealth of knowledge to the team whilst being the voice of reason in Shane’s right ear

Throughout John’s life journey, he has climbed mountains, and swam with turtles, also achieved many life goals, being a black belt karate, skiing to advance level, flying a helicopter, sky diving, danced with gorillas  (well some were pretty). John also helped to bring up two healthy well rounded children (one of each) both in their twenties with whom he is extremely proud to call best friends too

Paul Richardson – Franchise Manager

Over 25 years experience in franchise industry as both franchisee in QSR and Area/ Regional manager for numerous QSR franchise outlets. Coffee always been a prominent part of my remit in both ensuring quality control and sales volume.

Previously, he has been Multi Site Subway Franchise owner, understanding how the franchise model operates, showing healthy margins, with steady  sales growth. In addition joined the Eurogarages group, where during the 3 years of service, helped develop the Subway brand in-house, taking the portfolio from an initial 12 stores to over 100, working as part of an experienced team. Whilst working as part of this team he experienced the processes and procedures of other franchisee models, namely Spar, Starbucks, and Greggs.

Played and coached amateur rugby in the city of Bath for over 29 years with the achievement of having 3 of my former players that I have coached playing in the Premier league.

Inspiration my 3 children Ben 26, Harry 14, and Emily 12.

Ashley Pamment – National Franchise Recruitment Manager

Ash has over 25 years experience in Franchising, Financial Services, Sales and Retail. He enjoys a challenge in his professional and personal life.

He loves nothing more than getting the numbers right and has an impressive track record in adding value, revenue and profit during his career in business.

He is married to Lucy and has 3 incredible children. He openly admits to being a cricket geek and spends most of his leisure time pursuing any sport imaginable.

His coffee of choice is a flat white.

James Guilfoyle – Franchise Manager

James has a wide range of experience, having worked  in Franchising, Retail and Events for 25 Years.

Since joining the Team 2years ago, he has been an integral part of Store Training and New Store Openings.

He has completed a number of courses at the London School of Coffee and Speciality Coffee Association of Europe.

His interests include Rugby and Environmental Issues.

Haydon Shore – Graphic Designer

Haydon is fresh out of doing his degree in Advertising, previously doing a diploma in Graphic Design. He is a creative with a real passion for branding and design. In the passed he has had work shown in three galleries, one of which is a permanent gallery. Haydon creates the designs for marketing and social media along with the designs for the in store vinyls.

Joseph Easby – Social Media Officer

Joseph is straight out of college after completing a degree in advertising. He is a social media guru who is in charge of content creation for the mangobean social medias, including campaigns, customer interaction and content management

Richard Aquilina – International Franchise Director

With over 30 years’ experience of retail experience across the globe, Richard joins the team with a wealth of experience in international franchising. Before setting up his own consultancy business in 2010 Richard had the pleasure of working with ex Dragons Den star, Theo Paphitis as European Franchise Manager for his La Senza chain. Since then Richard has supported a number of well known retail brands in their international franchise strategy including names like Topshop/Topman, House of Fraser, Clarks Shoes and more recently German Global Retailer, Deichmann Shoes.

Richard saw something different and unique about Mangobean Coffee Wonderland and feels privileged to be joining the team at the start of its international journey!

In his spare time……Richard helps to coach boys football teams at under 10 and under 13 level. England here he comes!

Michael Richardson – Lead Marketer

Michael leads upon all marketing activity for the business, developing our brand presence and managing the development of our retail campaigns. He is long suffering Newcastle United supporter.
